Meet The Team

Having had an early interest in strength and conditioning, Martyn developed his training expertise in a variety of fields, including fitness instructing, martial arts and coaching. Having seen teammates and friends become inactive due to injury, he soon looked to use his background to prevent injury. Martyn graduated in BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation with First Class Honours in 2018 and was awarded the Medical & Sports Sciences Prize for Academic Achievement. After working alongside professional teams, including athletes from Carlisle United FC, Sheffield Wednesday FC and Bentley Motorsport, as well as providing medical support for various endurance athletes, he decided to establish Phoenix Sports Injury to bring premium care to the public.
